  • 26 March to 16 May 2010 - Dayboro: The First 100 Years - The Pine Rivers Heritage Musuem and the Dayboro Historical Society are working together to tell the story of the Dayboro area and community. Pine Rivers Heritage Museum Old Petrie Town Dayboro Road Whiteside.
     
  • 30 April to 3 May 2010 - Urban Country Music Festival Caboolture an action packed weekend with music, utes, horses, whips, bonfires and bush poets

  • 10 to 16 May 2010 - National Volunteer Week - An opportunity to highlight the role of volunteers in our communities and to say thank you to the more than 5 million Australians who volunteer.
     
  • 12 May (Wednesday) 2010 - The Heritage Talks: The Dayboro Story - Carmel Bond, president of the Dayboro Historical Society, will talk about the history of the village of Dayboro. Free morning tea included. 10.00 am at the Pine Rivers Heritage Museum, Old Petrie Town, Dayboro Road, Whiteside.
     
  • 14 May (Friday) 2010 - Loud Shirt Day - Wear a loud shirt and raise funds for deaf children around Australia.
     
  • 14 & 15 March 2010 - Live Local Pro Wrestling - This year's Pro Wrestling Alliance Queensland, Rise of the Warriors Tournament will be held at the Bray Park PCYC. Pre-book by calling Luke Davidson on 0430 315 906. Tickets are $15 each night.
     
  • 14 & 15 May 2010 - Redcliffe Kitefest - Presented by the Redcliffe Kite Club.
     
  • 17 to 30 May 2010 - Everest Virtual Challenge - An annual fundraiser for the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation, the fundraising arm of Queensland's Royal Children's Hospital. Gather a team of 15, or join a pre-exisiting team, and take 10,000 steps a day for two weeks to walk the equivalent of climbing to the summit of Mt Everest.

  • 26 May (Wednesday) 2010 - National Simultaneous Storytime - An annual campaign organised by the Australian Library and Information Association, in which a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously to children in a variety of venues around Australia. The book for 2010 is Little White Dogs Can't Jump.
     
  • 27 May (Thursday) 2010 - Australia's Biggest Morning Tea - Host a morning tea during May or June to raise funds for the Cancer Council.
     
  • 29 May (Saturday) 2010 - 65 Roses Day - The annual national awareness day for Cystic Fibrosis. Funds raised will go towards research projects and support services for children and young adults living with CF.
