Redcliffe Kitefest Held each year in May at Pelican Park,
Hornibrook Esplanade, Clontarf on the Redcliffe Peninsula. Kitefest has
won the Brisbane tourism award for regional festivals three years in a
row. Each year it attracts crowds in excess of 20,000. The kite displays
are supported by a large array of craft and market stalls, food stalls
and amusement rides, making the event a great family affair.
