Women
Transported: Life in Australia's Convict Female Factories
- An exhibition from the Parramatta Heritage Centre
revealing the stories and experiences of the many women who found
themselves torn away from the lives they knew and thrown into an
unfamiliar landscape in Australia. It includes rarely accessible
objects from the early colony, art from significant colonial
artists, and is drawn from national, state and regional public and
private collections. Pine Rivers Heritage Museum Old Petrie Town

- An annual debate presented by the Australian Institute of Management.
The 2010 debate topic is "That Nice Girls Don't Get the Corner Office."
- 6 & 7 March 2010 - HIV Education Course - This
free course requires no prior knowledge of HIV and covers the history,
transmission, prevention, cause, and treatment of HIV, as well as an
examination of contemporary issues. The course will be held at the
University of Queensland, St Lucia. Bookings are essential. Download the

compete in the 30km or 45km rides, or 12km Goldcross Family Fun Ride. The rides start and finish at the South Bank Cultural
Forecourt from 6.45 am.
Coot-tha
Challenge on Sunday 21 March - An annual 80km ride to Mt Coot-tha starting
at 6.00 am at the Southbank Cultural Forecourt.
