Women
Transported: Life in Australia's Convict Female Factories
- An exhibition from the Parramatta Heritage Centre
revealing the stories and experiences of the many women who found
themselves torn away from the lives they knew and thrown into an
unfamiliar landscape in Australia. It includes rarely accessible
objects from the early colony, art from significant colonial
artists, and is drawn from national, state and regional public and
private collections. Pine Rivers Heritage Museum Old Petrie Town
Dayboro Road Whiteside.
- 5 February (Friday) 2010 - Redlands Charity Golf Day
- Haiti Appeal - The Victoria Point Sharks, Redlands Sporting Club,
Redlands RSL and Redland Bay Golf Club have joined forces to host a
charity golf day to raise funds for the Save the Children Fund in
Haiti. Tickets are $75 or $300 for a team of four. Tickets include
18 holes of golf at the Redland Bay Golf Club, electric cart hire,
pre game burger, post game drinks, post game buffet lunch, and a
