  • 26 March to 16 May 2010 - Dayboro: The First 100 Years - The Pine Rivers Heritage Musuem and the Dayboro Historical Society are working together to tell the story of the Dayboro area and community. Pine Rivers Heritage Museum Old Petrie Town Dayboro Road Whiteside.

  • 1 April 2010 - Change Your Smoke Alarm Battery Day - Under Australian law, all owners of homes and units are required to install at least one 9V battery-operated smoke alarm designed to last a year or longer. This national awareness day aims to highlight the importance of general fire safety and the role smoke alarms play in house fires.

  • 2 April (Friday) 2010 - Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race - Hosted by Queensland Cruising Yacht Club on Good Friday every year.
       
  • 2 April (Friday) 2010 - Redcliffe Festival of Sails - Watch the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race at the Festival of Sails. Art and craft stalls, sand sculpture and workshops, an Easter egg hunt and parachuting Easter bunny, rides and live music. 9.00 am to 4.00 pm on Suttons Beach, Marine Pde, Redcliffe.
     
  • 2 & 3 April 2010 - Easter Orchid Show - Hosted by the Bribie Island Orchid Society. An opportunity for collectors and gardeners to see and purchase varieties of plants including the release of the special Dtps Bribie Q150 orchid. Orchid sales, fertilisers, clivias, bromeliads, carnivorous plants, floral art, light refreshments and more. Entry is $4, which includes morning or afternoon tea. Entry is $3.50 for groups of 10 or more. Open Friday 2 April from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm and Saturday 3 April from 9.00 am to 2.30 pm with presentation of awards at 2.30 pm on Saturday. The show will be held in the Student Centre, Bribie Island State High School, First Ave, Bribie Island.

  • 17 April (Saturday) 2010 - Go Green Fair - Enjoy the fun and festivities while learning how to live sustainably. Featuring a number of keynote speakers covering topics such as climate change, going green, solar energy and growing vegetables. There will be special activities for the children such as Gecko Wildlife Education, kids cosmic walk, experiment tent, and more. There will be stalls selling environmentally friendly products as well as stands selling food and drink. Adult entry by gold coin donation.   • 17 April (Saturday) 2010 - Benefit Concert  Mueller International Chamber Orchestra in a performance of the music of Vivaldi The Four Seasons, Piano Concerto no.7 in G minor by J.S.Bach and Cello Concerto in D major by Haydn at the Mount Mee Hall, 1352 Mt Mee Road, Mt Mee.
