Change Your Smoke
Alarm Battery Day - Under Australian law, all
owners of homes and units are required to install at least one
9V battery-operated smoke alarm designed to last a year or
longer. This national awareness day aims to highlight the
importance of general fire safety and the role smoke alarms play
in house fires.

Redcliffe Festival of Sails - This colourful,
seaside carnival runs in conjunction with the annual Brisbane to
Gladstone Yacht Race and has over a hundred specialty market and
gourmet food stalls along Suttons Beach. Entertainment includes
live music, roving entertainers, an Easter pantomime, a
parachuting Easter Bunny, Easter egg hunt on the beach, large
sand sculpture and sand-sculpting workshops with Sandman, Dennis
Massoud plus the building of a sand labyrinth. at Suttons Beach,
Marine Pde, Redcliffe.
