There are no public hospitals in Pine Rivers Shire. The nearest public hospitals with casualty departments are the Redcliffe Hospital to the north and the Royal Brisbane Hospital and Royal Children's Hospital to the south.
Samford First Responder Group (SFRG) provides volunteer first response to
medical emergencies in the Samford and surround districts. Activated by QAS
following a 000 call, the first responders respond direct to the patient and
provide initial first aid and life support until the paramedics
arrive.
